Creating a Better World, One Community at a Time.
At Edison Court, our mission inspires us to advance the betterment of the communities in which we live and work, and the world community as well. This unwavering commitment to making the world a better place is at the heart of our giving.
We fulfill our mission by developing enduring community partnerships that deliver solutions to different societal challenges. This year we focus in three strategic areas: ending human enslavement, ending the stigma of mental illness, and supporting our heroes returning from war.
Together with our partners, we strive to make life-changing, long-term differences in the human experience, helping families to grow and thrive. Please help support these events:

Diversity Mural
Students in the Service Learning Class were asked to brainstorm their own ideas for serving others, based on what they had learned about the many areas of volunteering. After having learned about ways that artistic people volunteer their talents, one student in particular was very passionate about creating a mural. At first, other students had their own ideas that they were attached to, but after discussing logistics and how each student could be involved, they soon became excited about the project. Their enthusiasm definitely grew as they worked on the mural and saw how it was developing into something real.
The Service Learning Class is used to demonstrate the difference between volunteering and service LEARNING, which is mainly that service learning involves more thought and reflection. The class also provides youth with meaningful opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others through the utilization of skills and talents they already have, develop new skills, and promote team work. The outcome is amazing!
