County Commissioner's Association of Pennsylvania honors Edison Court with Award of Excellence
The County Commissioner's Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP) recently bestowed honors on several Pennsylvania county jails, juvenile detention centers and alternative programs along with leaders who oversee their operations during an award ceremony at the Nittany Lion Inn on June 15, 2015. The awards are presented to county jails, juvenile detention centers and alternative programs that have implemented best practices and exemplary programming. Edison Court was among this year's recipients.
The Alternative Programs Best Practices award was given to Edison Court for our Residential Ongoing Research Endeavor (RORE) project. The CCAP recognized the RORE as "a model for clinical accountability for other facilities" and extolled its excellence for its ability to enhance the planning of service delivery for those in our care. Edison Court CEO, Jay Deppeler, and Clinical Director, Dr. Jon Roberds, recieved the award.
