Building Responsibility
Life skills training is a priority at Easton Manor. Our Department of Public Welfare regulated PACTT (Pennsylvania Academic Career Technical Training) affiliated life skills program is an in-depth independent living, and motivational curriculum. The focus ,which is independence, is presented first through virtual simulation followed by practice in the real world.
Each resident will be guided, step-by-step, to craft a detailed vision of his independent adult future, and create a clear and specific picture of what’s possible. He will learn a variety of life skills to build the confidence necessary to reach his goals. His plan is uniquely his, he created it, and thus more committed to taking the responsibility to making it come true. Our program guides him as he to compares the uncertainty of these expectations with the reality of his capabilities.
