Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from La Salle University. She continued her education at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) where she earned a degree in Clinical, Counseling and Health Psychology. While at PCOM her coursework focused on Addiction and Offender Counseling. While at La Salle University, Suzanne co-facilitated a research study that focused on the impact of incarceration on women. With the qualitative data that was collected two articles were published that focused on the impact on women’s mental health and the limited trauma-focused treatment that is available in prison. She recently earned her LPC certification. Suzanne completed an internship providing therapeutic services to those incarcerated in the Philadelphia Prison System. Additionally, she has experience working with adults who suffer from addictive disorders, as well as working with children on the outpatient level of care.
