2009 Mathom House Treatment Outcome Report
In an effort to adhere to State and Local reporting requirements, Mathom House completed a study evaluating post-discharge outcome data relating to new legal charges, and statuses of occupation/education, support system involvement, mental health, and residence. The data was collected for 69 individuals who had been discharged from the sex offender-specific treatment program at Mathom House between March of 2004 and April 2009, representing a five-year (61 month) study. The highest rates of success were found in recidivism rates (0.0%) and academic/job status (82%).

Bucks County Violence Fatality Review
During a six-month period in 2005, there were 12 domestic violence related deaths in Bucks County. In response, the Bucks County Domestic Violence Fatality Review Commission was formed to review
the fatalities and identify system gaps within the county as a way of preventing further domestic violence homicides in Bucks County. The multi-agency commission released a report of their
findings and recommendations on March 6. Mr. Jay Deppeler, M.Ed. was part of the Commission selected by the Bucks County District Attorney to review these issues.

Concerns regarding the implementation of SORNA with Juveniles in PA.
In response to concerns regarding the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act of 2006 (SORNA), professional stakeholders from Bucks County, PA formed a work group to review the potential
unintended consequences of the mandated guidelines set forth by the Act, particularly as it applies to juveniles.
